I’m pretty sure I have bored all of you senseless. So, I will combine the remaining three days into one post. There really wasn’t too much going on, anyway… We went down to Tampa for Mr. Darcy’s business trip, and the kids and I hung out at the hotel while he was in classes. The hotel was beautiful. Only a year old and right on the beach.
This is Seashell Mountain. I know, “mountain” might be a little generous, but the kids got tired of digging and patting. They decorated it with allsortsa sea trash… broken seashells, chunks of sea sponges, a crab’s claw, and seaweed.
I couldn’t take my eyes off Kitty because every time I did, this is what I found. Mmm… delicious sand. One time, I brushed the sand out of her mouth and hands, but after a few minutes I noticed she was making her happy food noise. The noise that she makes when she’s eating something she really likes (Life Cereal, peaches, ice cream). “Ummmm… UmmmMMmmm… UmmmMMMmmm.” So, I pried her mouth open and found a seashell the size of a quarter. Mmm… Salty.
