So, here you go… the only actual pictures I took in the parks and they are? Star Wars related. I am a huge nerd! The first stop (that The Boy had been begging to go on for days) was Star Tours. Which is pretty cheesy, but 2 out of 3 of our kids loved it, so it was worthwhile. They also have a Jedi Training show at Hollywood Studios, so of course we had to watch that. A Jedi comes out and picks young kids out of the crowd to train them in the ways of the Force. We sent The Boy to the front of the crowd and told him to jump around to get their attention. Alas, there were many other Sons of Star Wars Nerds there employing the same technique and The Boy wasn’t chosen. After they teach the “padawans” how to use a light saber, they bring out Darth Vader and each kid gets a chance to fight him. I must admit, when Darth Vader came out with the smoke while The Imperial March played… I got chills. I am the world’s biggest loser.
After a few hours of rides and shows, the kids wanted a snack. So, as I often do when they’re trying to get something out of me, I was trying to force affection from my children and said, “Tell me I’m the world’s best mommy and you love me more than anything!” And Lizzy rolled her eyes and said, “It’s not Opposite Day.” Oh, Snap!
