I love Easter. We had a delightful whirlwind of an Easter this year. On Saturday, I sang with our Stake Choir in an Easter program. We sang some really beautiful numbers. We ended the program with a powerful arrangement of “Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing” which left the entire choir in tears and made Jane exclaim, “Phew! I’m glad that’s over!”
Mr. Darcy and I spoke in church on Sunday, so I couldn’t be late like I normally am. Sunday morning after the kids hunted for eggs around the house I had to rush to finish up my talk, get everyone bathed, curl Jane’s hair, etc. Mr. Darcy has to be at church early each week, and I normally stumble in about 5 minutes late dragging 4 kids behind me. But, by some miracle we made it on time.
The kids gorged themselves on Easter candy all day. Chocolate bunnies, Peeps, robin eggs. I’m not kidding… they ate nothing but candy all day. They will probably be pooping jelly beans for the next few days.
Our lawn looks really poopy because we just had it aerated. Honest,
we don’t live in Cat Turd Land.
Isn’t he cute? I love my little guy.
