Operation Berniece bobs her hair:
Kitty looked so charming on Sunday, I decided to try and take some pictures of her and her Model T. That car has been nagging at me… Always in the back of my mind, reminding me I needed to get some cute pictures with her in it. As always, I had imagined the perfect shot in my head and gosh was it cute. She would be peddling around the driveway, smiling at me, and being adorable. Pemberley would be seen in the distance. Loveliness.
She was excited to go outside… no surprise there. But, she didn’t have any desire to play in her car.
I asked her, “Do you want to sit in your car?”
She replied, “No. No car.”
But, she found a stick!
It was a good stick.
She loved that stick.
She would whack the car with it, and while I was laying on my belly waiting for her to express any interest in actually climbing in the car, she decided it would be more fun to climb on my back and beat my head with her stick. That was by far her favorite part of the afternoon.
She would psych me out every now and then… Acted like she might actually want to take the pink Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for a ride, but then she would quickly run away again.
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I plopped her in, ran back and laid on the ground with my camera. I needed to get that imaginary shot. The whole reason I bought this car was for that shot! Must. Get. Shot.
Yeah… that’s not quite the way it looked in my head.
