We’ve already discussed the fact that Kitty’s room is actually a closet. A large closet, but still a closet. Well, today I will focus on the closets inside of Kitty’s closet.
Because… who needs a big room if you have a bunch of built-ins to provide storage? Not Kitty. (Not that she actually got a vote or anything.)
^^I actually found her just like that. Unbeknown st to me, she was playing hide-and-seek. When I didn’t come looking for her, she started calling out, “Where Kitty go??! Where Kitty go??! HIDE???” She’s such a sport to help a clueless mommy out like that.
Note the triumphant return of the ubiquitous green shirt.
So, that is the largest portion of closet space inside her room. Here is another smaller closet:
We hung some cheap little hanging dividers in there to give more storage. And once again, organization is not my thing. I want it to be my thing, but I don’t think I have it in me. So, don’t judge me.
But that’s not all, oh no… That’s not all. We have little built in drawers on one wall. So handy! And a good thing, too, because we never bought her a dresser. Dressers cost money and we are cheap.
Love that little square window. That doesn’t have anything to do with her closet space, but I’m throwing it out there anyway. Isn’t that a cute little window? So charming.
And you’re probably wondering two things right now… 1) What is the deal with that other door? And 2) Where did Mary acquire such astounding Photoshop skills??
Well, believe it or not, I am totally self-taught! And I will tell you about that door in next Friday’s Pemberley Appreciation post. Oooh, you’re gonna be on pins and needles until then, I know!
This last photo is a freebie:
Poor kid pinched her fingers in those pesky closet doors again. But, I dare you to find a cuter “I just pinched my fingers in the closet door again” picture. Those cheeks! That pout! Is it wrong that I find it so adorable?
