This week in the quest for a good offspring picture, I tried a new strategy. If I put the kids in our truck, Kitty would be semi-contained. And she likes the truck, so I hoped that might increase our odds on getting a successful picture.
This strategy worked fairly well. Kitty was not the biggest stinker during our photo shoot. I guess I am going to have to be grateful that there is only one child looking miserable in these shots (Jane, I’m looking at you.).
Have you wondered why The Boy keeps his transition lenses on during outdoor shots? In general, I don’t like to have kids wear them for pictures because you can’t see their eyes. I usually ask them to take them off. I took them away from The Boy at the beginning of our little session, but quickly realized it wasn’t going to work out.
Allow me to illustrate:
At which point I said, “Oh for Pete’s sake, put on your glasses.”
