Saturday I cleaned out the playroom. It is a tiny little space and because of that, it doesn’t really take much to completely trash it. Plus, we got a few new baby chicks and were raising them in here for awhile because it was the only place to keep them safe from the twins (aka, Lydia and Bingley). They both really wanted to hug them and squeeze them and bite them and break their tiny necks, so we had to lock them in here to keep them from going Lennie from Of Mice and Men.
Also, here’s a tip for raising chicks indoors for a few weeks… You’re going to want to keep them somewhere that can be closed off to the rest of the house because baby chicks smell so bad that you will want to rip your own nose off your face. I am not kidding. The smell will knock your socks off.
She seems… sweet. (I’ve never actually seen The Ring because I am what you call a giant, wussy baby. No scary movies! Or wire hangers!!! I haven’t seen that movie, either but I had a companion on my mission that would quote it all the time.)
